01The pattern

“My pain keeps coming back.”

You've heard yourself say it. You've probably lived the whole routine:

You rested it. The pain faded, then came back the first week you trained again.

You took the painkillers. They worked, until they didn't.

You sat through the machine sessions. Heat pack, ten minutes of current, see you next time.

You tried the YouTube exercises. Some days they helped. Some days they made it worse.

And if you're here after an ACL injury, it's not really about the pain. It's the question you don't say out loud:

“Will I ever be able to play my sport again?”

If it's your back or neck after years at a desk, your version is quieter:

“Will I have to live with this forever?”

Here's the part nobody told you: none of this was your fault.

Everything you tried was built to reduce pain. And it did, for a while. Nothing you tried was built to find out why the pain started.

Pain is where the problem shows up. It's rarely where the problem lives. Until someone finds the real cause and rebuilds the strength around it, the pain keeps its return ticket.

We don't chase temporary pain relief. We help people understand why they're hurting, fix the real problem and build stronger bodies so the pain doesn't keep coming back.

02The answer

That's why Guide Physio exists.

A full assessment.

We examine your movement, strength, and history: the whole chain, beyond the spot that hurts. The goal is a diagnosis of the cause, in plain language.

A plan that's yours.

Every rehabilitation plan is customized to your injury, your goals, and your lifestyle. No two programs here look the same.

A place to get strong again.

A dedicated strengthening and rehabilitation facility inside the clinic, so you can progress safely from treatment to full functional recovery, with your physiotherapist watching every stage.

What we treat

Flagship program

ACL & MCL Rehabilitation

From post-surgery day one to tested return-to-sport.

Pain Management

Neck, back, shoulder, and joint pain that keeps returning.

Return-to-Sport Programs

Measured readiness, not guesswork.

03The method

How rehabilitation works here

Every patient moves through the same pathway. Every plan inside it is built for your injury, your goals, and your week.

Comprehensive Assessment

Movement, strength, history: all of it measured.

You can't fix what you haven't measured.

Root Cause Identification

We locate why it hurts, not just where.

Treating the symptom is the reason your last treatment didn't hold.

Pain Reduction

Hands-on treatment, plus machines where they genuinely help.

You can't train what still hurts. But relief is step three of eight. It's not the finish line.

Restore Mobility

Full range first.

A joint that can't move fully can't get strong.

Build Strength

Progressive, supervised strength work in the rehab facility.

Strength is what keeps the pain from coming back.

Functional Rehabilitation

Training the movements of your real day: lifting, climbing stairs, sitting through a workday.

Sport-Specific Training

Sprinting, cutting, bowling, jumping. Whatever your sport demands, rebuilt under load.

Return-to-Sport Testing

When applicable. We test strength and control before you go back.

Feeling fine isn't a test. A pilot doesn't fly on “feels fine”, and you shouldn't play on it.

For ACL and MCL patients, this pathway is the flagship program, from post-operative day one to the day you're tested ready to play.

There are no shortcuts to strong recovery. Good rehabilitation follows the body's natural healing process.

04The difference

What changes when the cause is fixed

The relief route Root-cause rehabilitation

Pain settles, then returns when you do

The reason it hurts is found and treated

Sessions with no end in sight

A phased plan with a defined goal

“Rest it and see”

Strength you can measure, week on week

Going back to sport on hope

Going back tested: strength and control, verified

You do the work. We guide it, measure it, and tell you the truth about it.

05The honest comparison

Why the other routes didn't hold

Rest and waiting.

Early on, rest is right; tissue needs it. But rest only lets pain settle. It doesn't rebuild the strength or movement that failed in the first place. That's why it comes back when you do.

Painkillers and heat packs.

Useful on a bad day. But they mute the fire alarm. They don't put out the fire. The problem is still there, quietly getting comfortable.

Machine-only physiotherapy.

Machines have a place; we use them too. But a session built entirely around heat and current is designed for relief, not recovery. It can calm a symptom. It cannot rebuild a body.

YouTube plans and gym-trainer advice.

The effort is right. But without an assessment, nobody knows if it's the right exercise, at the right load, for your injury. Sometimes it helps. Sometimes it feeds the problem.

None of these are bad options. They're incomplete ones: built for relief, not for return.

08Your first visit

Your first visit: the assessment

The first step is a paid assessment and consultation. Here's exactly what happens:

  1. A comprehensive physical assessment: movement, strength, and history. The full picture.

  2. We identify the root cause and explain it in plain language.

  3. You get our honest recommendation: what your rehabilitation needs, how the phases work, and what it will cost, before you commit to anything.

  4. You'll also hear what you don't need. If your problem needs two exercises and patience, that's the plan you'll get.

And our promise: if physiotherapy isn't the right treatment for your condition, we'll honestly tell you during your assessment.

No treatment plan is sold before we know what's actually wrong. That's the point of the assessment.

09Before you ask

Questions patients actually ask

We believe you. If those sessions were mostly heat, current, and a rub, that was relief, not rehabilitation. Relief is step three of our eight-step pathway. The other five steps (cause, mobility, strength, function, testing) are usually the ones that were missing.

Sometimes. Early on, rest is part of healing. But if it's been weeks and the pain keeps returning, rest has had its chance. Rest settles pain. It doesn't rebuild what failed.

It depends on your condition and your plan, which is why we don't quote prices before assessing you. At your assessment you'll get the full picture, including cost, before you commit to anything.

Honestly: it depends on the injury, and we won't pretend otherwise. ACL rehabilitation is measured in months, not weeks. What you'll always have is a phased plan, so you know where you are and what's next.

Post-operative ACL rehabilitation is our flagship program, and it typically starts early. Your surgeon's protocol and our assessment will set the exact timing. Book the assessment first; we'll build the plan around your operation date.

Then we'll tell you at the assessment, honestly, including what kind of specialist you should see instead. That's our promise.

Ready to find out what's actually going on?

One assessment. A real answer.

Book Your Assessment

The assessment is an examination, not a sales pitch. You'll leave knowing what's wrong, what fixing it takes, and whether we're the right people to do it, even if the honest answer is no.

You've already tried resting it. You've already taken the painkillers. If any of that had fixed the cause, you wouldn't have read this far.
